Families Experience

I like Brainobrain and some times Love Brainobrain class. It is Motivating, especially the Frog story that makes me to do better in School. I like going to Brainobrain course because there is more fun with friends who are from different nationality and teacher motivates a lot. We have small groups in Brainobrain course that makes me to mingle with everyone easily. Especially when we have Brainobrain Contest we get different nationality food and it makes me to feel that I get connected to different nations. I love going to Brainobrain because I am getting better in imagination skills and mental arithmetic calculations. I am able to do mathematical calculations without calculator now! I knew English, but I never used to speak. After joining Brainobrain I am better in English at school and in communicating with everyone. My favorite activity in Brainobrain is Dictation. It is a kind of fun with numbers and I feel better at listening skills now.

Live startet med Brain o Brain høsten 2014. Selv sier hun at det er kjempe gøy. Abakusen bruker hun til å løse gitte matematiske oppgaver og til andre morsomme øvelser. Det å sitte sammen med barn i ulike aldre er morsomt! Vi som foreldre opplever at Live trives godt. Brainobrain har vært et sted for lek, morro og sosialt fellesskap. Samtig gir live uttrykk for at det hun lærer gir lyst til å prøve og lære mer. Det er en øvelse i fokusert arbeid som ser ut til å skape glede og konsentrasjon. Vi har også opplevd at oppfølgingen av det enkelte barn er enestående!

Alfred is 6 years old, and started littlebob almost one year ago. From this he has gained self assurance, and in the yearly test ("Kartleggingsprøve") he got a top score in both reading and mathematics. He is now able to multiply a 3-digit number with a 1-digit number on the abacus.

We have two sons (6 and 9 years) in BoB, and both have benefited greatly. Our youngest joined a few months ago and is already able to sum 10 one-digit numbers mentally. The oldest joined about a year ago, and this year he did much better in all fields of mathematics in the yearly school test (close to full score).

Our 10-year old has always struggled really hard with mathematics in school. He has had to take extra classes, and he has been in and out of special learning groups, without ever catching up with his classmates, despite spending many hours at home laboring over his math homework every week. He started with Brainobrain eight weeks ago and is just finishing level one. He just loves it! We have witnessed a profound change in his attitude and skills over the past two months. Suddenly he enjoys, and takes pride in, finding and solving math problems in everyday tasks, from shopping to cooking. He now loves to be the one to add up the sums when we play Yatzy, and he wants to be the bank when we play Monopoly. When asked why he likes Brainobrain, he says it is because he has fun there, because he understands it, and because it makes him feel that he is able do something that not everybody knows how to do. Already we have seen a great change in his math grades in school (from always having less than half of the answers correct, to scoring 63 points out of 64 on his last test), but most of all we have enjoyed watching how his self-confidence has grown! Both he and we are so happy we were told about Brainobrain. We can hardly wait for the next level.

Our kids Aditya and Shreyan are in level 9 and 8. Brainobrain is a skill development program. Aditya has participated and demonstrated in different places with in Norway. The unique brainobrain programme has developed our kids individually with solid foundation for effective learnig. They have improved study skills and confidence levels. Through their daily worksheets / daily practice which is easy to follow up through parent's session after every class, have improved standards for their age. Specially Shreyan who has completed grade 3 in school felt very happy when his teacher asked if he can be her assistant for maths class. Long-term focus provided our children with the self-assurance to take their learning into their own hands increasing their motivation to succeed.

I like Brainobrain, because it is expanding our imagination.I try to use both sides of the brain now.I began bob in April 2014 and i have improved my speed in general. I'm concentrating more than before.I feel that listening skill activity (dictation) is more important because I am learning more.I can challenge everyone because i have gone Brainobrain. I practice everyday for 15 minutes. Brainobrain Class is motivating because the teacher motivates us by lots of motivational stories and with pleasant smile always in the class.Before I had fear of maths but after beginning Brainobrain, it has changed and i can challenge anyone. My mother is fun to work with me and she is interested to support and guide me with Brainobrain everyday. Brainobrain helps in creative thinking!!!

Before bob my son had problems with his concentration, he couldn't sit still, especially with schoolwork, for more than 5 minutes. Now, after going to bob, my son has become really concentrated and is able to sit with his schoolwork for a long time. Also before bob he was a regular student in class, now after bob he has improved his skills in all subject, especially mathematics, where he is one of the best students in his class. He doesn't mind doing schoolwork in his spare time and weekends anymore. After bob he can do a lot of mathematics in his head, for instance when we go shopping he is quick figuring the cost of things. Teachers feedback: All together his schoolwork has improved alot. Now he gets the highest score in all subjects. He doesn't get distracted as easily as before, more confident in himself and a quicker learner. All in all he has achieved a higher intelligent level. And he has become a much more stronger individual. He is doing most of the work on his own in a satisfying way, more structured. My comments: My son is after bob more confident in himself, has a better self esteem now. The bob teachers are really good with the children in every way, strict but at the same time generous with compliments to the bob children. Ann Eikemo

Mangai Kugesh (6) have become better at doing homework independently after she has begun abacus. She has less trouble to take up new things, like playing an instrument. Language Proficiency has improved and she needs less time to read. In mathematics, she can add and subtract up to two digits numbers and have begun with multiplication. She observes much more than before.

We are parents to Elias and Caleb.. they are going to Brainobrain in Asker each Saturday. They have attended brainobrain for the last 12 months. And as a parent we have seen a very good improvement on our kids when it comes to maths and on their social skills . The kids are really enjoying it and they know that it is helping them. We have got a very good and positive feedback from the school teacher. My feedback to Brainobrain Norway is keep on the good work and try to reach many kids.

BrainOBrain has simply changed our "way of thinking". I and my younger brother are attending BrainOBrain since October 2013. I have completed three levels and continuing with 4th level. After BoB training, I myself feel that there is an improvement in the approach of resolving a problem, analysing skills, vocabulary and spelling skills, and creativity in art. Everyday, we (I and my brother) play with Numbers for 5-10 minutes.
